Mike Bygrave was a freelance journalist who wrote for The Guardian, The Sunday Telegraph, the Mail on Sunday and many other UK broadsheets and magazines. One of the original team at Time Out magazine, he spent much of his adult life in America where he lived in Los Angeles and covered American subjects, some of which appear on this website. Most of these pieces were written after he retired and for that, and other, obvious reasons, have not been published elsewhere. As well as his work in journalism and as a non-fiction writer/editor, he also wrote fiction represented here by some short stories.
